Remember last week I told you I was working on something.....
I bought this "HUGE" frame, 4 feet by 3 feet, at a second hand store.....
so home I went to get Hubby and his big car to pick this baby up.....
all Hubby could say is "What the heck are you going to do with that"
look at the carvings....just beautiful.....well home it went.....
Hubby and I measured.... sawed.... and cut....
Hubby and I measured.... sawed.... and cut....
and we ended up with a shadow box...... except I am going to make one teeny tiny change...."PAINT IT".....I thought I would like it gold for a change but DON'T...I don't hate it but I just don't like it.....so we will take it apart and I will paint it..... I hope to get this done on my days off this week.....
I will show it to you again when the paint job is complete....
Have a wonderful day...
Hugs,
Mo :-)

I love it! Very creative - I think I have a frame similar to that up in our barn that my MIL gave us years back. Maybe I will get creative like after being inspired by your shadow box and do something with ours. Busy Time in the garden for me... so it will have to wait till fall.
Happy day to you dear creative friend and thank you for sharing your design on blogger with us.
Love the frame and how you intend use it as a shadow box frame.
I'm on the look out for one similar, thou not quite as big. I have an old advertising print I want to put in my bathroom and it deserves a beautiful frame.

What a gorgeous frame!!! I love what you did with it! It would have made a great chalkboard too!
Oh Mo, I love it! I have a shadow box with mirror behind it(one of those old 50's mirrors), and I seashelled around it. Look close at the left picture of my header. I just love this shadow box. And thank you for the nice comments about my bed crown. I will start another one very soon and tell you all about it.
Mo, that frame is so beautiful and your creative idea is perfect for it. It is so beautiful. I love the gold! I also love the picket fences. I dream of living in a little white cottage with lots of gingerbread trim and the yard is surrounded by a sweet white picket fence. It has been a hectic week and I am late posting comments but I looked at your pictures. Hope your evening is wonderful!
I would have never thought of that..... how perfect....... Yes I think you are right paint it.... it is a beautiful frame....

What a clever idea. I'm not that handy with measurements. My mind doesn't work that way. I can use tools if I have to. I would have bought the frame too, I think it's beautiful. What color are you thinking of painting it?
Oh, that frame is sooo pretty! I love what you did with it...how creative and beautiful!
