I found these shutters at a second hand store.....
right when I saw them I knew I like them...
but where oh where to put them......
I love when people get tired of stuff and throw things out.....
I had a few options but settled on either side of the shelf....the color is the lightest Pink......almost a white......
they were already old and yucky....
just one of the looks I love......
and really stands out against the blue wall.....
as you can see one had a heart and the other a star...
and now they have a home again....
it sure gives that shelf the cottage look....

Look at all your pretties, how lovely. I think the shutters is the perfect place for them. It finishes off the look you have on the wall. Great things are always going on in your place. Never a dull moment with Mo...your my kind of gal.

Looks wonderful! I always love a good shutter, believe it or not when I usually see them, there is never a matching pair. What do you do with one shutter, LOL! I suppose someone more creative than I could think of something...
Mo, the shutters look perfect with your shelf. I have 4 of the small blue plates that you have on each side of the large pink plate. I knew I had good taste!! Smile! Is the pink plate the Lady Carlyle pattern? I just love that pattern. Pink and floral together!
