Off Again !!!!!

We are off again !!!!!
This time Hubby and I are off to Dover, New Hampshire...We are also going into Maine and where every else the wind blows us....We are going to visit a very good friend of mine...Fran and her two little pups.....This is her beautiful yard...
one thing I love about back East is there are no fences on the properties.....

The reason there is this cute little picket fence around Fran's yard is because she has the cutest little pups......

I hope to return with some fabulous pictures of our trip......

Have a wonderful week...

Hugs,

Mo :-)

My Other Side

Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved "OLD STUFF".....to me gently used or even well loved stuff has always appealed to me.....I have another side other than the fresh white shabby chic side...and that is Victorian....I want to share my guest room again with you.....
I love to welcome my guests with this cute little plaque on the bedroom door......

I love linens and lots of pillows.....this bed you just want to jump into...it is soooooo comfy...

Romantic lighting.....

the detail on this bed is incredible and so beautiful....it says look at me !!!!

just a little wall vignette.....

I love stuff and I have put a lot of it on top of this entertainment center I wanted to get rid of....I was going to paint it black but decided to keep the original oak...I put a TV and guest towels ...

here is a full view...I also put lace where the VCR would have gone....

I love this old Victorian mirror...now this mirror was well loved....I hung it over an old sewing machine table and it looks like a vanity table.....

here are the guest towels....

and a candle..just for a little romance.....
have a beautiful day,

Mo ;-)

New Reading Lamp Re Do
as I told you before my friend Sharon gave me this fabulous lamp for my birthday...well while in New York I found this amazing trim store....It was called M&J Trim on Broadway.....

The trim on the bottom of the lamp is a silk ribbon trim from Paris.....the moment I saw it I knew it would look fabulous on the new reading lamp......

I also found the beautiful ribbon roses..... I cut the dingle balls of the lamp...you will see the before picture below.....(I'm a not a dingle ball person)....I put the ribbon roses with some of the silk ribbon on the top of the lamp......

I hope you can see the amazing detail of the ribbon......

so romantic and I love my re do reading lamp.......

here is the before........
dingle balls gone and replaced with beautiful trim and ribbon.....
