Headboard Bench

I have had this headboard bench since last Friday and this was the only day I had free to play around with it.....I had so much fun...it was a beautiful day here in the Bay Area......

and here it is.....

my front porch looks like Spring........I added some cottage pillows

I added this old window ...I wanted to give my porch a cozy effect.....
I hung it with some chain and put this cute little welcome heart on it.....

spring flowers are very welcome.....

I think I shot this bench from every angle.....

I have a very small front porch but it "WELCOMES" you with open arms...

Things I love

I put together a little mosaic of things I love around my home...

it is all the Spring colors I love.....

I bought a bench made out of an old headboard that I will putting on my front porch....I have a few ideas I want to play around with tomorrow....I will post it as soon as it all comes together....

Pink Time to Change Saturday

Pink Saturday brings me to Change....

I have been changing things around a lot lately....

I think it is because Spring is coming.....

the bay window in my kitchen has gotten a little change....

my friend Sharon gave this beautiful 3 tiered silver cake stand...it is one of my favorite treasures...... it was a get well gift about 4 years ago...I bring it out for special occasions... well now it is out for good in my bay window.....

a little faux cake for color......

and my sweet little Fairy....

I bought this tea light lamp at a garage sale for pennies.....

I added a pink bow with a pink crystal on the shade
and some netting with satin roses....

More Change

I am still changing things around....

I love to have a little lamp on my kitchen counter.....

I have had one on and off for a while....so now it is back on again.....

I am in the process of look for new kitchen counter tops....I love the look of marble...I am at the cross roads of marble versus granite....What do you have granite or marble?????.....

I put a mirror in back of the counter and love the way it reflects the light of the lamp.........

this is the look at night....just so romantic and cozy.....I also put on my little chandelier in the evening that I showed you yesterday....I just love this look.....
now on to something else......

Change is Good

Time to move things around.....

My green house window needed a little change so I moved things around....

I also found this great little chandelier.....Lamps Plus is closing their store by me and this was 75% off.....so of course at $30 I couldn't resist it.....
it has lots of Pink crystals and looks so pretty at night.......

I have been seeing "NEST" on so many blogs lately...it is such a sweet word describing your home....just the right saying for Spring

Now what else can I change around ????

Pink Almost Spring Saturday

Pink Saturday and getting ready for Spring......

I have showed this Cloches collection before....

I just added the crystals to the base.....

I love this look.......

I also added this cute little Fairy to the top of the cloche.....

the little Fairy is watching over the Tea Party.....

I just had to set the table to welcome Spring with my faux cupcakes.....

I found the table cloth and napkins at Home Goods....

I love the color and the way they are cut out.....

I added the the pearls as a napkin ring.....

my Granddaughter's love this.....

to them it is like playing TEA PARTY....

Happy Birthday Mika Bella

Today my sweet Mika Bella turned One Year Old...

this sweet little girl was a gift from my son David

for Mothers Day last year......
I have loved every minute we have had her in our lives....

Tea At The Secret Garden

Last Saturday my friend Sharon and I had our tea

at the Secret Garden in San Francisco.....

It was very cozy and cute.....

and very small and intimate....

a cute little hutch......

I loved how they labeled the flavor of tea on the

tea pots with this cute little topper....

our yummy food has arrived.......

this was our dessert...a yummy pear pudding....

and it was good......

and assorted tea sandwiches......

they were also very good....

after our Tea we drove through Haight-Ashbury....

remember the Sixties !!!!!!

this is the famous corner of Haight and Ashbury.......

this area is still quite colorful......

and fun........

some very old homes....just charming.....

everyone is so different and yet the same.....

I would love to take a peek inside all of them.......

and of course the best part of my week.........

I had 4 of my 7 grandchildren spend the night.......

Brogan and Nevaeh.......

and the twins on the right....Finnian and Callan....

as you can see they are allllll boy...... band-aids and all....
