Pink Saturday Obsession

I think I'm obsessed with cream and sugar bowl's...for some reason if I see a cute or pretty one I buy it.....now I have a collection...they say 3 is a collection....what does it mean if I have more than 10....an obsession maybe.....

for fun.....

for spring......

for pretty......

for my white mood.......

from my son........

just because.......

and this one I love....I bought this one in England.....so small and cute.....

Dreaming of Spring

I was going through some old pictures and found this one of springtime in my garden.....

the pillow stepping stones were a great find for me....I showed them a while back...

I found the stepping stones at Ohmega Salvage Co. the same place where I found my new old Victorian Mirror that I am going to re do..........I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.....I guess I'm dreaming of springtime......and the time change....I love it when it gets dark later.....

spring will be here before we know it.....

Mood Lighting and Drawer Pulls

I was sitting in my family room and looking at this cute little lamp my friend Sharon gave me for my birthday....it just looked so Romantic and cozy....I tied some netting and added some pink roses just for color.....

I just wanted to share this quite moment.....

but this is what I really wanted to show you....when I was out on Saturday I found these two drawer pulls...... and the mercury glass candle holder....

I lit the candle so you can see it better....the pulls look like a BIG broach....I am going to put them on my re do vanity....I just thought they were so girlie and feminine and pretty......and I think it will add just the right touch on the vanity.....

Tea Time At Santana Row

I love going to TEA with friends....we were going to try and go to a different Tea House every month last year...well you know what happens...life just has a way of taking over sometimes....well we are going to try again....Saturday we went to "Lisa's Tea Treasures" tea room and gift parlour.....located in Santana Row San Jose CA...it is upscale shopping with stores that are very $$$$$$....and on a side street we find our tea shop......

this picture was taken out in front of the shop...sorry but the owner wouldn't let me take any pictures of the boutique part...it had cute tea cups and vintage clothing.....

I did get to take a picture of the table setting........

here we are....Lynnie, Myself and Sharon my co-heart in crime......

I took this picture before I found out I couldn't take any of the displays.....

go figure!!!!

our Tea Selection was My Lady's Request...kind of a mix of everything.....

they didn't have the typical "WOW" factor of the presentation....which I love.....that is part of the fun of going to TEA.....

the food was good.....but the company was "Fabulous".....

this was the desert.....I took this home to Hubby......

I wish I had more pictures to share...but that's all folks.....

Our TEA will be at the "Secret Garden" in San Francisco next month......

I have heard that place is FABULOUS and a real fun TEA experience.....

Wonderful Pinks

Pink Saturday Pinkness......

I wrapped pink pearls.....

and added little pink sea shells with a tea light in this candle holder.....

gum ball machine...I painted it white and added rose decals.....

and of course pink rose petals......

bits of pinkness in my family room.....

netting, ribbon and roses make for a romantic look......

Long Awaited Shelf

Well this is the story...Have you ever seen something you really loved but couldn't have it.....well I got it....I saw this old shelf the shop owner used for display...I asked her if she would sell it and she said yes...well the price was a little more I wanted to spend....I would always find a little treasure or 2 over the years I went to her shop and every time I admire this shelf....well at long last the price came down to something I could afford.....I think she knew how much I wanted it.....I was so happy I hugged her.....

It was an old maple shelf she painted white....lucky me I didn't have to paint it.....

I had the perfect spot in my family room.....

I had so much fun today playing with my treasures....

I love lace and of course teacups and teapots.....

New Chair

My new living room chair.....I just didn't have it in me to start another slipcover project...I think once every 5 years is good for me...that is what I say now.....well I do have maybe one little chair I could tackle....hehe....
