Nevaeh's New Bedroom

Nevaeh's Bedroom
***********************
My friend Sharon and I just finished the make
over on my grand daughters bedroom....
Nevaeh is turning 4 and it was time for the redo.....
Lamp and shade on clearance at target for $14..
I added the netting and pink bow.....
The little night stand was free...(from my storage shed)
I sprayed painted it white....
bedding from Target (Shabby Chic collection)
Rug from Target..bought it on clearance for $34....
********************
The adorable headboard...Sharon's father made it
almost 40 years ago for her daughter.....now on loan
to Nevaeh for about 10 years or so.....
I bought this cute chest of drawers a few years ago
from Costco...I made the little lamp on top.....
Fairy picture from Home Goods....
**************************
Lace canopy from Victorian Trading Co.
cute little chandelier from Auntie Sharon...

I love this picture....from Home Goods....

I had the lace curtains and the valance is a Thrift Store
find for $5....I just added the pink netting and "Drama Queen"
sign....
and this is the before picture.....
my daughter and son-in-law painted the room
a beautiful sage green...the pink accent colors
were the perfect blend ......
***********************
The best part was the SMILE on Nevaeh's
face when she saw her Bedroom...
"PRICELESS"

Hugs,
Mo :-)

OMG! I would sleep in that room!

That is over-the-top adorable! I love the headboard with the dress hanging in the middle...just too, too darling!

And all the special little touches you've added everywhere truly made that a room for a princess!

What a lucky little girl she is! I wish we had Target in Canada. I really like their shabby chic line and Nevaeh's bedding is so pretty. I like what you did with the lamp in the first photo and the mini chandelier.

Your granddaughter is living in heaven on earth when she's in that room! Gorgeous job! I love everything about it...the bed is wonderful and her own chandelier!! I love the $5 curtain, as I'm into thrifting and repurposing. What a great pink rug. I want to have a room just like it!! LOL

That is the sweetest room, just love it! Perfect colors for a little girl. I love the headboard and all the frills, so cute. I just got done doing my grandsons bedroom and a new nursery for my little grandson that's coming in April. I had so much fun doing it. Pictures will be up on my blog next week.

Mo,

I've never---not in a magazine or on HGTV with the "experts" or anywhere else---seen such a perfectly-created room for a little girl.

Your genius is matched only by your sweet generous spirit. Just beautiful.

That room looked so lovely and I'm sure that every little girl will love to sleep in that room. I also know some little girl's bedroom that are very modern and that are made up of metal and they get the materials from some brass pipe suppliers and from brass rod suppliers. Not the typical little girl's bedroom actually, but it really looked so great too.
