It's "PINK SATURDAY"

I wanted to share one of my favorite lamps. I have enjoyed it for almost 5 years. My Mom gave me the very old broach that I have pinned on a old lace doily.
I hot glued several shades of PINK roses on the lamp shade. I think they have held up great over the years. The base I found at an antique store. I had no idea what I was going to do with it at the time.........then it hit me.....a lamp!!!!

Mo, the lamp is so pretty and very clever. I have seen lamp shades embellished with silk roses that I adored. Go Pink!

Hi, again, Mo...just wanted to say that you should be received your envelope with the door plate (plus a tiny surprise) any day now...
I have to say that since the posting, I've received many emails on what to do with such an ugly thing and my favorite is from PENNY at LAVENDER HILL STUDIO...put it on a birdhouse with a crystal knob !! How cute that would be!!

Several people have emailed me and said they wanted that plate and knew just what they were gonna do with it. Everytime I looked at it, all I saw was UGLY...Hahaha...
