Tea Time At Santana Row

I love going to TEA with friends....we were going to try and go to a different Tea House every month last year...well you know what happens...life just has a way of taking over sometimes....well we are going to try again....Saturday we went to "Lisa's Tea Treasures" tea room and gift parlour.....located in Santana Row San Jose CA...it is upscale shopping with stores that are very $$$$$$....and on a side street we find our tea shop......

this picture was taken out in front of the shop...sorry but the owner wouldn't let me take any pictures of the boutique part...it had cute tea cups and vintage clothing.....

I did get to take a picture of the table setting........

here we are....Lynnie, Myself and Sharon my co-heart in crime......

I took this picture before I found out I couldn't take any of the displays.....
go figure!!!!

another picture of the table......cute teacups.....

our Tea Selection was My Lady's Request...kind of a mix of everything.....
they didn't have the typical "WOW" factor of the presentation....which I love.....that is part of the fun of going to TEA.....
the food was good.....but the company was "Fabulous".....

this was the desert.....I took this home to Hubby......
I wish I had more pictures to share...but that's all folks.....
******************************************
Our TEA will be at the "Secret Garden" in San Francisco next month......
I have heard that place is FABULOUS and a real fun TEA experience.....
Enjoy your day,
Hugs,
Mo :-)

Hi Mo!

I have never been to a teahouse and this was almost like being there, your pictures are great. Everything is so pretty and the desserts are worth going for alone!

I always wanted to do 4:00 tea at one of the nice hotels downtown and someday I will! :-)

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment, but please go back and see my note. Thanks.

xoxo

I wish we had enough TEA ROOMS around here to do one a month for the year. Tom and I would love it.

Thanks for sharing your TEA excursion with us. I love the TEA CUPS, too! Old country Roses.

Hi Mo...what a great idea to do tea with the girls once a month...I hope you can accomplish that this year. The tea cups were very pretty at this place...can't wait to see your next tea party!

What a beautiful place. I love the table setting and I bet the tea was good. I have never done that. I don't even know if there are any tea rooms around here. There must be some in Boston. I'll have to check around and see, it sounds like so much fun!

Everything looks so pretty. We had a gorgeous place out in my area, and when you went into her place, you wouldn't want to leave. Unfortunately she's not there anymore.

It's been ages since I've stopped by for a visit and boy have I been missing out. Your tradition of trying to visit a new tea house each month sounds like fun. Having tea is one of my favorite things, but sadly, there are few tea rooms close to where I live. I just throw my own tea parties at home. Your blog posts over the past month or so are just great and I'm dying with envy over your beautifully slipcovered sofa. It turned out great!! I'll try to be back to visit more often in the future.

I bet you girls had such a fun day...this looks beautiful and delish too....I would love to go to a place like this...I can hardly wait to see the next "TEA" location in San Francisco.
BTW...I don't understand why they wouldn't allow you to get more pics...it would have given them free advertising. That's strange...I would think they'd be delighted to let you take pics and blog about it. Well, you did good to get these beautiful one's you took...I sure enjoyed them. Hope you have a wonderful evening.

I love going to tea parties. This little tea room looks beautiful. Don't you just hate it when they wont let you take pictures? Its like they think that we are gonna copy their ideas or something.

Well don't you girls look pretty.
What a great picture of girls just having some fun. Beautiful tea room too. I look forward to hearing about the trips that you will be taking.
I tried to comment on your blog the other night but it wouldn't let me for some reason. I was going to tell you that we had spent our Saturdays doing the same thing. Talk about kindred spirits.

What a wonderful tea! My friends and I frequent tea shops. Our local tea shop is hosting a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in February on the weekends. We will be going on Feb 15. Can't wait to see you trip to SF!
