Inspiration

Whenever I want a little inspiration I pull up my pictures of Martha's Vineyard....Hubby and I went there 2 summers ago....and what's not to love....it is charming and what cottage is all about to me....I also love Nantucket....I will share those pictures another time.....but now it is all about Martha's Vineyard......
the soft colors and the porches with hanging baskets......

picket fences and flower boxes.....

a cozy front porch.......
this is where I first saw a headboard bench....
see it on the front porch......

the big White House.......

the charm.......

the rocking chairs...the front doors that invite you in......

just what I needed.... a little inspiration.....
we did work in our garden....not as much as I wanted to...but it's a start....
I will give you a few little peeks this week of our garden in progress......
Hugs,
Mo :-)

Morning Mo~ ~ ~
Thanks for the lovely shots. We live in the NE but I've never been there. It's on my long list of places to visit.
I have been looking for pink glass wall hooks to put on the shelf that my Beloved made for me a few weeks ago. Do you have a website for the shop you purchased them at. Been checking ebay but alas, no pink.
I posted about the shelf a few weeks ago. It is on the wall above my desk and I painted it white. I think the pink glass would look really nice. I'm thinking 4 or 5 should do the trick?~ ~Ahrisha~ ~

I love it up there. I always think that it is one of the most charming places I have visited. Your photos are lovely and bring back memories. Best is that I did not even have to get on a plane today to visit one of the cutest places in the good old USA! Thanks.

Oh how I love that place! It's been almost 3 years since I've been there and I miss it so much! I really want to go to Nantucket. I'm hoping I can go in the Summer of 2010!

Hello Mo! What a beautiful blog you have! I was sent here by Gabriela Delworth..she told me that she found the perfect girlfriend (Mika Bella) for my little Maltese (Barkley)! Please come visit my blog to see a photo of Barkley on my sidebar...he has a bow in his hair too, but it's blue. Your blog is lovely and I will add it right away to my blog roll..so nice to meet you! ~ xo Joy

Mo,
The photos of the homes are just plain purdy!! I love all the soft pastels and attention to detail. I could live there in a heartbeat if my wallet was fat and I liked cold weather. :)

Have a happy day

Thanks for the inspiration...I double clicked on each to get all the details. I just mentioned rocking chairs to my husband last week and he is sure he is not old enough for rocking chairs yet but they sure do add charm.... I'll be showing these to my husband.

hello sweetie....I love the photos! It is so very hard to read your print though especially when you print with light purple over the mauve...any chance you might change the font color or the background? I'd really love to read what you have to say! Again, incredible pictures...thank you!
