Something Pretty

I have no idea what to call this stuff....it is almost like a heavy tissue paper that is sewed around the edges..... a fake topiary and an empty oatmeal box...I used that for height......and just played around with it.....
I put the topiary in the oatmeal box just to raise it up a bit and gathered the tissue like paper and tied it with a ribbon......

I am amazed how something so simple can look so pretty and for little money....
I have had the tissue like paper for a while...I bought it at a gift garden shop a while back....

I am sure you can do this with material or even pretty tissue paper...they have so many fantastic tissue now.......

for the moment I have it in my living room on the coffee table......
it just looks sooooo Springy.....
Have a wonderful Day....
Hugs,
Mo :-)

Hey, that turned out really pretty! I have fallen behind on my blog reading. I need to catch up on your previous posts to see what you have been up to lately. But I did want to let you know about my project on my craft blog. I am working on that wingback chair I had mentioned before. I remember you were interested in how it was going to turn out. Harder than I thought, to get the fabric smoothed out and shaped nicely. I told myself it can't be perfect. Just having it covered is better than before..LOL!

How lovely! It looks like it's wearing its own little ruffly collar!

The great thing about a topiary is that you can dress them for all seasons and they look great I like your tissue paper with the rounded edges, I've not seen paper like that before, it looks very pretty.

I've never seen tissue paper that looks that pretty. You are so creative (I sound like a broken record, every time I leave you a comment, lol). I just love everything you do. The way you have it sitting on the silver tray with the pink flower and the little crochet heart hanging from it....perfect.

Wow! It is so pretty! Love to know what the paper is! I also love the frame you made into a shadow box, the ottoman cover. The table is great as the hutch. You can see I trying to catch up! All your projects are great! Those wooden white charges, How I love them!
