Sofa Slip Cover Update

I thought I would post an update on my sofa slip cover project.....
I now have the bottom 3 cushions done....
I am so glad I did get the NEW sewing machine....
my old one would have never made it through this project....
I can not believe what a difference this new machine has made.....
I had to make a pattern for the bottom cushions ....
it was not that hard to do but very time consuming and a lot of steps.....

This the the arm pattern I am working on now.....
I am making the pattern and then on to cutting and sewing.....

I have never made a cording before....that took a bit of time...
the cutting sewing and then sewing it on the cushion.....
I have been sewing all my life but this Slip Cover project has been a challenge......

all of the sewing and pattern making has been kinda fun......
When this project is done I will have used 3 queen quilts (that I bought at Marshalls a while ago) and I'm not sure now many curtains that match the quilts I will use for the skirt yet....I will let you know when I'm alllll done......

Just the arms and skirt....I'm almost there......
Just slow and steady !!!!!!

Me again! I tagged you, Mo, with something fun. Check my blog to see, but don't worry if you don't want to do it. I thought it was fun, but only do it if you want to. You may just need a break from the slipcovers!!!
